    Nominally an inside right, Unai is also comfortable in the inside left position

    Midfielder Unai Hernández came through the youth system at Girona. He joined when he was eleven and progressed through the different youth levels up to the end of the 2021/22 season. That summer he joined the FC Barcelona Under-18 A side and after a superb season, he is now part of the Barça Atlético squad under coach Rafa Márquez.

    Technical profile

    Nominally an inside right, Unai is also comfortable in the inside left position. He stands out for his quick turn of pace and goalscoring capabilities.
