First team players choose and customise their new CUPRA cars at the Terramar circuit

The team were able to test the entire range a few weeks ago, choosing their favourites from the CUPRA Terramar, the CUPRA Tavascan, and the CUPRA Formentor. The Club's Official Automotion and Mobility partner will deliver the cars in the coming weeks.

After some thrilling test drives at the Terramar Circuit a few weeks ago, the first team players got to choose their new CUPRA cars. Both the players and the coaching staff got the chance to dive right into the world of CUPRA, checking out the brand's entire range of models, and getting first-hand experience about what it feels like to drive a CUPRA. The team chose their favourite car afterwards and customised it to their preferences.

The fourth oldest circuit in the world and where the CUPRA was born in 2018, the Terramar Circuit played host to this event attended by FC Barcelona coach, ​​Hansi Flick, who was joined by 22 players, including the CUPRA brand ambassador, Marc ter Stegen, and the team captains Ronald Araujo, Frenkie de Jong, Raphinha, and Pedri.

A complete CUPRA experience

The FC Barcelona players enjoyed a complete CUPRA experience with the aim of choosing and customising their new CUPRA cars. The team could choose from the entire CUPRA range and check out all the different configurations and designs. They also sat behind the wheel to experience the thrill of driving a CUPRA, testing the power and performance of petrol, hybrid. and fully electric VZ models around the Terramar circuit. This different driving test included acceleration tests, driving around the circuit's only bank, and an agility test through a slalom, an experience they really enjoyed.


They all configured their new CUPRA car models, choosing from different versions and models, and selecting their favourite colours, wheels, interiors, and additional equipment. The most chosen options by the players were the iconic CUPRA Formentor, the new CUPRA Terramar, and the brand's first fully electric SUV, the CUPRA Tavascan.

The event also saw the players try the CUPRA Virtual Reality experience to explore the virtual versions of the brand's latest heroes in 3D, the CUPRA Tavascan and the CUPRA Terramar. They also saw the CUPRA DarkRebel, a showcar that goes beyond design and performance limits, a daring vision of how cars of the future will created.

More than a partnership

CUPRA recently extended their partnership with FC Barcelona until 2029, expanding their sponsorship to all the Club's professional teams as the Official Automotion and Mobility Partner and the Official Car. To celebrate FC Barcelona's 125th anniversary, the brand launched a campaign focused on next generation talents, featuring young players from the men's and women's teams.
