FC Barcelona players work out at the venue of Tuesday's game
There are just 24 hours to go before the first Champions League game of 2025, and the players know that victory over Benfica would practically guarantee a direct route into the last sixteen, rather than having to negotiate a playoff.
The team worked out on the field at the Estadio da Luz, or Stadium of Light as it is known in English, shortly before Ferran Torres and Hansi Flick attended to the press. The 23 players that have travelled to Portugal were greeted by rainy weather, but the session was a highly productive one.
