Possible opponents: Schalke, Roma and Liverpool
Gelsenkirchen? The Eternal City? The banks of the Mersey? Half of the Champions League groups drew to a close on Tuesday night, and things are starting to look a whole lot clearer ahead of next Monday’s last sixteen draw in Nyon, Switzerland.
Barça were already confirmed as winners of Group B before a ball was kicked in the 1-1 draw with Tottenham Hotspur, meaning we cannot meet any of the eight group winners. We will also be kept separate from fellow Liga side Atlético Madrid and cannot play Tottenham again.
That leaves six potential round of 16 opponents, three of which are already confirmed, while the others will be decided on Wednesday.
