Squad for the visit of Spurs

The Champions League is back this Tuesday with the final game of the group phase of the competition. On Monday Ernesto Valverde named his 19 man squad for the Barça v Tottenham clash in group B.

The players called up are the following: Ter Stegen, Semedo, Piqué, I. Rakitic, Sergio, Denis Suárez, Coutinho, Arthur, Suárez, Messi, O. Dembélé, Cillessen, Lenglet, Jordi Alba, Munir, Vidal, Vermaelen, Aleñá and Miranda.

Left out due to injury are Rafinha, Malcom, Samper, S.Roberto and Umtiti. Aleñá is in the squad and will wear the number 26 even though he wears 21 in the league and Copa del Rey now.

Final session with Arthur fit again

Monday’s training session was the final one before the visit of the London club. The avilable players all took part with Iñaki Peña, Miranda and Riqui Puig from the B squad also taking part. After the workout, Arthur was given the medical all clear and named in the squad for Tuesday’s game at Camp Nou.
