The squad for Villarreal

The League returns to the Camp Nou this Sunday, at the start of a week of three games in Barcelona; Villarreal, Cultural Leonesa, and the derby against Espanyol. On Saturday evening, Ernesto Valverde announced the list of 18 players for the match against Villarreal this Sunday, at 6.30pm CET.

They are: Ter Stegen, Semedo, Piqué, I. Rakitic, Sergio, Denis Suárez, Coutinho, Messi, O. Dembélé, Malcom, Lenglet, Jordi Alba, Munir, Vidal, Aleñá (26), Miranda (27), Iñaki Peña (30) and Chumi (36). Left out of the list because of injury are Arthur, Suárez, Rafinha, Cillessen, Samper, S. Roberto, Umtiti and Vermaelen.

Last training without Arthur

This Saturday the team trained for the last time before the game against Villarreal. The session was conducted on the Tito Vilanova pitch of the Ciutat Esportiva, but without Arthur who still has discomfort from overloading his adductors. The evolution of his injury will condition his availability. Iñaki Peña, Miranda and Chumi from Barça B made up the numbers.
