Barça B – Valencia Mestalla: Last second draw (2-2)

Barça B drew 2-2 against Valencia Mestalla in the Miniestadi, thanks to goals from  O. Busquets and Ronald Araujo in added time. The game started with a handful of off target efforts from both sides, before the hosts took control of possession.

The visitors were very compact in defence and it took Barça until the 26th minute for Wague to get their first meaningful effort on goal. In added time at the end of the first half, Valencia’s Merentiel put them ahead (0-1).

At the start of the second half, García Pimienta’s side were determined to score, with Carles Pérez, Riqui Puig and Collado all going close. Home pressure eventually told with Oriol Busquets firing in the equaliser.

In the final moments of the game, Valencia Mestalla took the lead again through Sito, but in the dying seconds of injury time, Araujo rescued a valuable point, helping Barça B to fifth in the table with 21 points.
