FC Barcelona start training for Sunday's trip to Balaídos
The FC Barcelona first team were back at work on Friday morning. Luis Enrique had given them the day off on Thursday after returning from Germany with three more Champions League points in the bag.
But with the batteries recharged, it’s now time to switch focus back to La Liga and Sunday’s visit to Celta's Balaídos stadium for what will be the third consecutive road trip and the last fixture before club action takes a week off for the next set of internationals.
The Tito Vilanova field was the venue as usual for training at the Ciutat Esportiva, with the available first team members joined by Gumbau, Abeledo, Paik and Borja López of Barça B.
There is another workout scheduled for the same time (11.00am CET) on Saturday morning, after which the manager will be giving a press conference. The team won’t be travelling to Vigo until the morning of what will be an 8.45pm kick off local time.
