Marlon Santos: Debut at Celtic was incredible
Marlon Santos was one the names to come out of the clash between Celtic and Barça in Glasgow. The 21 year old Brazilian came on after 72 minutes to replace Gerard Piqué and make his official debut with the Barça first team. After the game he admitted “making my debut at Celtic was incredible.” He went on: “I still can’t believe it, it was a dream debut.”
The youngster confessed he was ‘nervous’ before making his way out on to the field but that Luis Enrique had told him: “ Go out there and do what you have been doing with the B team.” With a smile from ear to ear, Marlon revealed: “I’ll take away this shirt, get my team mates to sign it and then hang it on the wall.”

“It was a tough group and we knew that possibly it would go to the last game. But we have done our jobs and we are through with a game to go.”
“We know we have the three best strikers in the world, and the more passes Messi gets the better and the more chance we have of winning matches. All our game goes through him (Leo Messi). He is the most dangerous player.”
