FC Barcelona to face Juventus in the Champions League quarter-finals
FC Barcelona will face Juventus in the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League, according to the draw that took place this Friday in Nyon, Switzerland, where Luis Enrique’s team were paired with the team coached by Massimiliano Allegri.
The last time the two sides met in European competition came in the final in Berlin back in 2015. Barça’s 3-1 victory (Highlights below, Match Report) thanks to goals from Rakitic, Súarez and Neymar rounded off the historic treble achieved by the team in Luis Enrique’s first season in charge.
The first leg will be in Turin on Tuesday, 11 April, and the return leg will be at Camp Nou on Wednesday, 18 April.
After the first leg, which Barça midfielder Sergio Busquets will miss with a yellow card suspension, Barça host Real Sociedad in La Liga, followed by the second leg at Camp Nou. Immediately following that, Barça travel to the Santiago Bernabéu to face Real Madrid in El Clásico.
