At midday on Friday local time the first team player Rafinha underwent arthroscopic surgery on his right knee to resolve an injury to the internal meniscus. The operation was carried out by Dr.Ramon Cugat and Dr.Ricard Pruna. The player will be out for around four months.
7 goals in 28 games
Rafinha has made 28 appearances this season across all competitions. He has played 18 games in La Liga, four in the Copa del Rey, and six in the UEFA Champions League.
This season is proving to be one of his best in terms of goals. He has six in the league, including the winner in the 1-0 victory at Camp Nou over Granada, and he also scored once in the Copa del Rey.
