Mascherano with a left calf problem

The first team player Javier Mascherano has a problem with his left calf and his recovery will determine when he will be available once again. 

The defender has played 34 games this season, 32 as a starter, underlining his importance in the squad. Mascherano has played 22 times in the league, six in the Champions League, four in the Copa del Rey and twice the Spanish Super Cup.
