Kick-off times announced for Spanish Super Cup against Real Madrid
The kick-off times for the Spanish Super Cup have finally be announced, so fans can start making their viewing plans for the showdown between FC Barcelona and Real Madrid for the first official title of the domestic season.
As tradition dictates, the Copa del Rey champion (i.e. Barça) will host the first leg. The game at the Camp Nou will be on Sunday 13 August at 10.00pm CET. The return at the Santiago Bernabéu will be three days later, on Wednesday 16 August at 11.00pm CET.
Of course it won’t be the first Clásico of the season, for the two sides are also meeting in the International Champions Cup this very Sunday 30 July at 8.05pm local time in Miami (2:05am CET on Sunday morning).
Barça have appeared in the Super Cup seven times in the last eight years, and will be looking to retain the trophy that they won against Sevilla twelve months year and thus collect the first piece of silverware of the Ernesto Valverde era.
