Lasse Andersson under the knife once more
The Barça Lassa defender suffered a recurrence of a ligament injury in this left knee, necessitating surgery
FC Barcelona’s medical department announced on Friday that Barça Lassa handball star Lasse Andersson had suffered a recurrence of a ligament issue in his left knee, which forced the Dane to undergo fresh surgery.
The operation was performed by Dr. Monllau, and overseen by Dr. Puigdellívol and el Dr. Gutiérrez, and was reported to have been a success. In due course, it will become clear how long the player’s recovery period will be.
Andersson’s woes go back to the initial injury suffered back on March 11 during a Champions League clash with Wisla Plock at the Palau Blaugrana.
