Finalists announced of 125th Anniversary Photography Contest

Finalist photographs for the 125th Anniversary Photography Contest

On March 26, the jury of the 125th Anniversary Photography Contest for penyes met to decide on the best of more than 200 submitted entries. Of these 200, more than 100 met the established requirements to be evaluated by the jury.

The jury is composed of Josep-Ignasi Macià, a member of FC Barcelona’s Board of Directors and head of the Social Area; David Carabén, commissioner for the 125th Anniversary, filmmaker, and columnist; as well as professional photographers Rafa Seguí and Marta Pérez. All four judges assessed the images based on technical and artistic aspects, as well as FC Barcelona’s values.

From these finalist photographs, which come from various parts of the world, the jury will select three winners who will receive first, second, and third prizes. Additionally, the supporters themselves will grant the Public Award.

How the popular vote works

Only properly registered FC Barcelona penya members will be able to vote on the Public Award winner. Each member may vote only once and must choose a single photograph, which will be recognized as the public's best photo. The winning photographer will receive recognition from the supporters' club movement, as well as tickets to a men’s football match, a jersey signed by the players, and two tickets to the museum.

To vote, please use the following form using the email address registered in FC Barcelona’s penyistes database:

The photography contest began on 29 November 2024, and penya members were able to enter until March 15. The prizes include premium tickets for men’s football, women’s football, and basketball games, signed jerseys, and the publication of the winning photograph with a mention of the photographer.
