Juan Carlos Navarro amongst 25 greatest ever in Euroleague
Juan Carlos Navarro is one of the legends of Barça basketball. The former guard from the town of Sant Feliu de Llobregat, just outside Barcelona, was named on Tuesday as one the 25 greatest ever players Euroleague history. The honour comes with the competition celebrating its 25th anniversary this year.

The man nicknamed 'La Bomba' is part of a list alongside other famous names from European basketball, such as Sergio Llull, Sergio Rodríguez, Dimitris Diamantidis, Mike James, Vasilije Micic, Anthony Parker, Nando De Colo, Ramunas Siskauskas, Vassilis Spanoulis, Nikola Vujcic, Milos Teodosic, Dejan Bodiroga, Georgios Printezis, Theodoros Papaloukas, Kyle Hines, Bogdan Bogdanović and Mike Batiste.
Record holder
Navarro was the first player to reach 3,000 points and then 4,000 points in the Euroleague. Winner of the competition with Barça in 2003 and 2010, Navarro was also named MVP of the Final Four in 2010.
Over 17 seasons he made 341 appearances in the Euroleague, scoring 4,152 points and some 623 three pointers at an average per game of 12.2 points and an 11.4 valuation.
