Lamine Yamal best U23 in LaLiga during February
Another award for Lamine Yamal. This time he has been chosen as best U23 player in LaLiga in February. The award brings to mind that the La Masia star is still only 17 years old and that his performances are simply belying his age after another superb month in the domestic league. It doesn't matter if he doesn't score, as his trickery has been on show at Montjuïc, in the Sánchez Pizjuán stadium and in Gran Canaria.

The talented Catalan undoubtedly deserves this award. He has been a permanent fixture in Hansi Flick's plans and has played a vital role in FC Barcelona winning every league game in February. The blaugrana forward proved a real headache for defences during the wins against Alavés, Sevilla, Rayo Vallecano, and Las Palmas. His dribbling produced an assist in the most recent win away to Las Palmas.
It's not the first time that Lamine Yamal has won the award this 2024/25 season, as he already won it in August. He was also named MVP for September in LaLiga. Now Barça's number 19 has had his name embossed on another LaLiga award.
