Barça win second Spanish Cup
The Barça handball team have won the 2024/25 Spanish Cup! The blaugranes overcame Bathco Torrelavega in the final to make it two wins out of two in the competition.
That's now three trophies this season after adding the Spanish Cup to the Catalonia Super Cup and the Iberian Supercup.
The Spanish Cup brings together the four best teams at the halfway point in the Liga Plenitude to play off at the Pabellón Municipal de Tías in Lanzarote. Barça were joined by Bathco Torrelavega, Fraikin Granollers, and Bidasoa Irun, who they defeated in the semifinals.

The Spanish Cup is only in its second edition, having replaced the Asobal Cup a competition Barça won 18 times with an identical format.
As such, the blaugranes have now won the last 14 editions across both the Asobal Cup and the Spanish Cup.
