Hansi Flick: 'I'm happy with the work of the whole squad'

The German coach is only thinking about winning at Sevilla on a vital weekend in the battle for La Liga

Another fixture for FC Barcelona as the league returns with a trip to Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán and a test against Sevilla. "The atmosphere is great but we have to play in our own style to get the win," began Hansi Flick in his pre-game press conference on Saturday ahead of Sunday's game, kick off 9pm CET.

Barça Atlètic then the derby

Before Sevilla v Barça on Sunday comes another vital game in the league - the Madrid derby between Real and Atlético. "First I will watch Barça Atlètic, then the derby. It will be a very interesting game, one of the best in Europe," said the German coach.

"They are all battling, it's great"

"All the team is doing well. They are showing that and we are creating a lot of chances. Now we have a lot of players available and it's good to have fresh legs," said Flick of his Barça squad. "I am very happy. There's a good atmosphere in the dressing room and that's key. They are all battling and that's great."

The Barça coach has various options in his squad and the names of Ferran Torres and Eric Garcia came up in the press conference. "Ferran can play in several different positions. I am really happy with his work. He's really professional and trains really well. He has confidence and that's good for the team," added Flick.

The coach went on to reflect on the Barça centre back: "Eric Garcia is a very flexible player. He works well and he's happy, and we are too."

"I like working with his group of players. We have a lot of potential, more with players from La Masia," concluded a Flick focussed on the win at Sevilla and reducing the deficit to the two clubs above Barça in La Liga.
