Saturday was a busy day for the Barça Legends in Japan ahead of their game against Real Madrid Leyendas on Sunday, kick off 2pm local time, 6am CET. Andrés Iniesta, Rivaldo, Iker Casillas and Roberto Carlos were involved in the press conference presentation in front of some 100 journalists in the hotel where both teams are staying. All four players pointed out that it had been a long time since many of them had shared a dressing room. A Clásico is a Clásico and despite the fact that it is a friendly between Legends teams, the rivalry is still there between the clubs.

Training

Albert Ferrer's team held a training session at the Ajinomoto Stadium, the venue where the game will be played. After a 45 minute session the Barça squad took part in series of skills tests with the Real Madrid Leyendas in front of an expectant crowd witnessing the preparations of both sides for Sunday's Clásico.

Once the session was over the players returned to their hotel where they met the Penya Blaugrana Shanghai and the Penya FC Barcelona Japan, with the supporters' club members gathering photos and autographs.

Sightseeing and a meeting with the Barça Academies

In the afternoon in Tokyo, the squad spent time in the Shibuia neighbourhood, one of the most famous areas of the Japanese capital. On their return to their hotel they were greeted by the students from the Barça Academy Yokohama and the Barça Academy Katsushika, the young footballers eager to meet some of the players who have made history at FC Barcelona. To round off the day, there was a gala dinner with the Real Madrid Leyendas and sponsors ahead of Sunday's big game which can be seen live on Barça One.
