Barça Legends v Real Madrid Leyendas

The Barça Legends are in action this coming Thursday 28 November in Qatar at 7pm local time (5pm CET) against the Real Madrid Leyendas. It is the first of two Clásicos between the veterans in the space of a month, and comes a fortnight after the blaugrana opened their season with a 2-1 win over a team of Brazilian legends in Curitiba, where the goals were scored by Rivaldo and Javier Saviola. Barça and Madrid will be facing each other again on December 15, this time in Tokyo.

Villa and Quaresma, debutants

For this game, David Villa will be playing under coach Albert Ferrer for the first time, as will former Portuguese international Ricardo Quaresma. Villa last played for Barça in 2013, while Quaresma only played one season at the club, 2003/04 under Frank Rijkaard.

The rest of the team is as follows: Jesús Angoy, Vítor Baia, Frederic Dehu, Eric Abidal, Frank de Boer, Juan Pablo Sorín, Sergi Barjuan, Fernando Navarro, Roberto Trashorras, Jofre Mateu, Gaizka Mendieta, Ludovic Giuly, Roger Garcia, Patrick Kluivert, Rivaldo and Ronaldinho.
