Annual dinner for the Agrupació de Jugadors

On Saturday 23 November the annual dinner for the FC Barcelona Agrupació de Jugadors took place in at the Hotel Catalonia Barcelona Plaza. Present were vice president of the Institutional Area Elena Fort, the board member responsible for the Social Area, Josep Ignasi Macià and the president of Barça Atlètic, Jordi Casals. 

Before the dinner there were speeches from the president of the Agrupació de Jugadors, Juan Manuel Asense, vice president Fort and a warm welcome for guest of honour Hugo Cholo Sotil, a Barça player between 1973 and 1976. 

Apart from the members of the Agrupació de Jugadors board - Pere Valentí Mora, Rafael Zuviria, Esteban Vigo, Antio Olmo, Félix Palomares, Julio Alberto Moreno and Josep Maria Comadevall, more former players were present in the shape of Pello Artola, Salva García, Jaume Huguet, Guillermo Amor, Quique Estebaranz, Bartomeu Paredes, Ismael Comas, Samuel Okunowo, Paco Nieto, Ramon Alfonseda and Carles Rexach.

Also at the dinner were women's football pioneers Pilar Gazulla, Lolita Ortiz, Anna Trullàs, Consuelo Pérez, Núria Gómez, Alicia Estivill, María Teresa Andreu, Anna Jacques and Merche Romero.

The dinner also featured a performance by comedian Pep Plaza and music from a DJ.
