Senergy Renovables Sant Just 1-10 Barça: Win to start the week

The Barça roller hockey team remain untouchable in the OK Liga after their seventh win in seven matches in the competition. This latest 1-10 win against Senergy Renovables Sant Just keeps them ruling the roost in the league.

Goals by Marc Grau (3), Barroso (2), Pablo Álvarez (2), Ignacio Alabart, Aragonés and Ferran Font were the highlights of this first game of two this week. Saturday (12.30pm CET) will see Lleidanet HC Alpicat visit the Palau, before the next WSE Champions League gameweek, when SCRA St. Omer also visit the Palau on 20 November (8.30pm CET).

Barça dominated from the outset, the first play testament to just that as Marc Grau diverted in an Ignacio Alabart shot (0-1, min 1). David Cáceres' side were controlling every facet of the game and the chances kept coming. Alabart, Aragonés, Sergi Llorca, Pablo Álvarez and Alabart all had attempts, but it was Barroso who grabbed the second for 0-2 (min 15), which remained the score at halftime.

The second half saw a sudden goal rush. First Barroso finished an Alabart assist (0-3, min 27), while Pablo Álvarez made the most of a Marc Grau steal (0-4, min 29) and a rebound (0-5, min 32) to really extend the lead.

The sixth came from a shot outside the area by Alabart (0-6, min 33) and Sergi Aragonés joined the party with the seventh (0-7, min 36). Ferran Font still hadn't scored, and after Xavi Crespo made it 1-7 (min 36), he got his goal (1-8, min 37). Lastly another two goals for Marc Grau (1-9, min 48; 1-10, min 49) completed a goalfest and Barça continued their winning run in the OK Liga.
