Barça to play the first semi-final against Athletic Club on 8 January, kick-off 10.00pm CET

Change to the 2025 Spanish Super Cup scheduling as announced by the RFEF today 12 November. The following reason was provided - With the aim of helping reschedule fixtures due to the effects of the DANA, the single judge for non-professional competitions has decided to change the order of the Spanish Super Cup semi-final games.

FC Barcelona were initially set to play the second semi-final, but Hansi Flick's side will now play the first semi-final against Athletic Club on 8 January, kick-off 10.00pm CET (12.00am in Yida). Barça qualified by finishing second in the 23/24 LaLiga campaign, while the Basque side qualified by winning the Copa del Rey.

The other semi-final will see LaLiga champion Real Madrid play Copa del Rey finalists Mallorca in the rescheduled fixture on 9 January, kick-off 10.00pm CET (12.00am in Arabia).
