Barça 42-25 Ademar: Another Liga ASOBAL win

The blaugranes control the entire game thanks to Gonzalo's saves and goals by N'Guessan, Janc and co

No drop in the pace from the leaders and another Liga ASOBAL win, this time against ABANCA Ademar León (42-25). Ahead the entire match, that's now eight wins in the Liga for the blaugranes. N'Guessan and Janc led the attack with Gonzalo Pérez de Vargas solid in goal.

Aleix Gómez started proceedings in this FC Barcelona v Ademar game with two goals, commencing a dominant first 10 minutes. A drop in attacking efficiency by the blaugranes then let the opponents in, and Pérez de Vargas proved vital in preventing the game being tied at 10 just before halfway through the first half 10-9 (min 15).

Gonzalo inspired

The keeper was quelling the opponents' attempts, and he was joined by Dika Mem and Javi Rodríguez at creating a lead to keep Ademar at bay (17-13, min 23). The number one was so inspired he even scored a goal to help extend the score towards the end of the first half. +7 at the break, 20-13.

Confident play to seal the win

Another stop from the blaugrana keeper set the tone for a larger lead, Timothey N'Guessan scoring to go eight up, but the visitors were still plugging away. However, Frade and Gonzalo Pérez de Vargas managed to extend the home side's lead to 30-19 (min 45).

The gap proved big enough to reach the final whistle without suffering too much and the final score was 42-25. A great team scoring performance backed up by a strong performance in goal saw Barça earn their eighth win of the Liga ASOBAL season. 16 points from 16 available so far and more to come potentially on 14 November against Benidorm at the Palau Blaugrana (8.30pm).
