Casadó called up for Spain for the November international break
The third international break is almost upon us. LaLiga pauses for a week to pave way for international commitments from November 14 to 20. Once LaLiga matchday thirteen is over, several blaugranes will join up with their respective sides for this month's international fixtures.
Casadó plus three regular call ups for Spain
Marc Casadó is one of the standout names from the players to be called up. FC Barcelona's number 17 is in the Spain squad for the first time, as Luis de la Fuente has named him, Pedri, Olmo and Lamine Yamal for the upcoming UEFA Nations League fixtures. Denmark and Switzerland are the opponents.
The Spain U-19 side will also have strong blaugrana representation, as Paco Gallardo has called up Héctor Fort, Pau Prim, Andrés Cuenca and Guille Fernández for the start of 2024 UEFA European Under-19 Championship qualification.
One FC Barcelona player is also part of Santi Denia's squad for the Spain U-21 friendly matches, namely Pablo Torre.
Lewy and Kounde with Poland and France
The blaugrana striker and defender are set to play in the final two matchday fixtures of this edition of Nations League qualifying. Kounde and France will face Israel on November 14 and then Italy on November 17. Poland will play Portugal on November 15 before facing Scotland on November 18. All matches kick off at 8:45pm CET.
Raphinha with Brazil
Some teams are playing World Cup qualifying matches, and this is the case for Raphinha and Brazil who play Venezuela and Uruguay on November 14 and 20 respectively.
Frenkie de Jong back in the Netherlands squad
The midfielder has been called up to the squad by Ronald Koeman, with the official Netherlands national team X account welcoming Frenkie de Jong back into the fold. After missing the last six international windows, the blaugrana 21 is available to play in Nations League fixtures against Hungary on November 16 and Bosnia and Herzegovina on November 19.
