Pedri La Liga U23 player of the month for October

The blaugrana midfielder is the second blaugrana winner this season of the award handed out by La Liga after Lamine's success for August

More success for FC Barcelona in the month of October. Pedri has been named best U23 player for the month in La Liga by the league themselves with the man from the Canary Islands adding his name to the list of previous winners this season of Alberto Moleiro from Las Palmas in September and team mate Lamine Yamal in August.

Pedri has been a key component in the excellent form of Hansi Flick's team in October in La Liga. The midfielder has performed brilliantly in memorable wins over Alavés and Sevilla at home, scoring a brilliant goal against the latter, and the recent 4-0 victory in the Santiago Bernabéu over Real Madrid.

Pedri has started every game for Barça in the month of October and played almost every minute, being substituted in the 83rd minute against Sevilla and in the 87th in the Clásico. 260 minutes in La Liga have seen an average of 58 passes per game with an accuracy of 90.86%.
