Hansi Flick: 'Everyone gave 100%'

Hansi Flick, as one would only expect after managing his team to a 4-0 win at the Santiago Bernabéu is a very happy man. "Everyone followed the plan we'd designed and gave 100%" he said. "We knew how to defend well and stuck to our ideas even though Madrid didn't allow us very much space. In the second half, we had a lot more control of the ball, but the whole team did an extraordinary job."

Asked about the extraordinarily effective offside trap, the German said it was all down to the players sharing the right attitude.
