The squad for Real Madrid v FC Barcelona

The time has come and it is the first competitive Clásico of the 2024/25 season. It is a fixture that has a global reach, even more so when there is only three points between Barça and Real Madrid in the table. The aim for Hansi Flick's team is to extend that gap to six points and German coach has selected a 22 man squad for the task in the Santiago Bernábeu on Saturday, kick off 9pm CEST. 

The full squad is as follows: Cubarsí, ⁠Balde, I. Martinez, ⁠Gavi, Pedri, ⁠Lewandowski, Ansu Fati, Raphinha, Iñaki Peña, ⁠Pablo Torre, Fermín, ⁠M. Casadó, ⁠Pau Víctor, ⁠Lamine Yamal, ⁠Olmo, ⁠F. De Jong, Kounde, Szczesny, Kochen, H. Fort, Gerard Martín and S. Domínguez.

The team will wear a special jersey on Saturday with the Coldplay logo on the chest, another ingredient in the very special cocktail that is Barça v Real Madrid. Week 11 in La Liga cannot come quick enough.
