Getting better and better in games
Sometimes it is good to wait, as Hansi Flick's team in La Liga score more goals after the opening quarter of an hour. Barça have only scored once in the opening 15 minutes so far this season in nine league matches, but at the same time, they have only conceded once in that time too. When the team really come into the their own is during the 15 minute periods afterwards.
From 16 to 30, the most prolific
If we look at the second 15 minute spell of the game - minutes 16 to 30 - that's when Barça have scored most goals with a total of seven, one ahead of Celta Vigo. In fact, the blaugranes are not top scorers in only one 15 minute period - from 61 to 75 - with five goals. However, they have conceded just one goal defensively in that period.
Focus after the restart
In the quarter of an hour before half-time - minutes 31 to 45 - the blaugranes have scored five times, just as they have after half-time - minutes 46 to 60. The blaugranes lead in both periods, ahead of Real Madrid and Villarreal who both have four. It is worth pointing out that Barça have only conceded once after half-time in the opening 15 minutes of the second half.
In the final 15 minutes of the game, Barça also lead the rankings with five goals, along with five other teams from La Liga.
Six points after coming from behind
So far this season, Barça have picked up two wins after coming from behind. Away at Rayo Vallecano and Valencia, the blaugranes came from a goal down to win 2-1 on both occasions. Only Celta and Villarreal have picked up more after being behind so far in 2024/25.
