El Clásico in Qatar

One day before FC Barcelona celebrates its 125th anniversary, the Barça Legends will play the Real Madrid Leyendas at the Khalifa Stadium in Qatar. The game will start at 7pm local time (6pm CEST) on November 28 and will be the third meeting between the teams. They first met in 2017 with Barça winning 3-2 with goals from Ludovic Giuly (2) and Simao. The second game was won 3-2 by Madrid in 2021. Barça's goals that day were scored by Ronaldinho (pen) and Jofre.

The Barça squad has yet to be confirmed by coach Albert Ferrer, but the names of the players already included on the trip to Qatar will be announced in the next few days. 

About the Barça Legends

The Barça Legends programme was created in 2016 and is managed directly by the club. The idea is to bring together former stars in a stable project that contributes to the globalisation of the Barça name around the world, thus offering a platform to foster the club's famous values.
