Lewandowski in form

Polish striker is scoring a goal a game and adds another against Getafe

The good run continues for Robert Lewandowski. His ability to sniff out goals this season is second to none, with his ratio in LaLiga currently averaging a goal a game. In other words, the forward now has 7 goals in 7 games in the Spanish league.

His latest goal at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys against Getafe proved to be the winner for FC Barcelona, the seventh consecutive victory for the Club. What's more, it represented the blaugranes' goal number 6500 in LaLiga.

Robert Lewandowski's exploits see him currently in the "Pichichi" position, i.e. the leading scorer in the league. Mbappé is in second with 5 goals (including three penalties), alongside Raphinha, who has also scored 5 goals.

Goal against another different opponent

Getafe were one of the few teams in the current Primera División that Lewandowski was yet to score against. He can now strike their name off his list. Only two remain now - Las Palmas and Real Madrid - although he has already scored against the latter in the Spanish Super Cup.
