Industria Kielce 28-32 Barça: Deserved win in Europe

Carlos Ortega's team make it three out of three in the Champions League

Another game in Europe, another win for Barça as they defeated Industria Kielce 32-28 away from home in Poland to maintain top spot in group B in the Machineseeker EHF Champions League.

Following on from wins at Kolstad and at home to Pick Szeged, it was important for Carlos Ortega's team to maintain their winning streak to keep confidence high as they now travel to Egypt for the Superglobe world club cup. The contest against Kielce was an even one early on before the blaugranes gradually assumed control. At half time they led 17-13 and there was no way back from that point for the Poles.

Despite players missing due to injury, Barça held firm away from home and Cikusa with six goals, Richardson with eight and keeper Nielsen with 13 saves were the standout performers in a win that keeps up their 100% record so far this season.
