Barça 3-0 Caldes: Win on a special night

Matias Pascual marked his return with a goal in the victory at the Palau

An emotional evening at the Palau Blaugrana on Friday as Barça recorded a 3-0 win over Caldes and Argentine Matias Pascual returned from almost two years out due an injury sustained playing in the World Cup back in 2022.

The Barça player marked the occasion with a goal on his comeback towards the end of the second half to certify victory for David Cáceres' team.

Aside from the return of Pascual, it was also new coach Cáceres' first home game in charge of the Barça roller hockey team. The occasion also saw a return to the Palau of Pablo Álvarez, back in a blaugrana shirt.

Álvarez opened the scoring in the 14th minute in a tight first half in which Barça keeper Sergi Fernández saved a penalty. In the second half Eloi Cervera added another before Matías Pascual rounded off the scoring with an emotional strike to claim a win in the Lliga Catalana.
