Raphinha, LaLiga MVP for August

The great start to the season by Raphinha hasn't gone unnoticed. FC Barcelona fans have of course enjoyed his feats during the four games the team have played and won, but they have now been acknowledged by LaLiga, so much so that they have communicated that the Brazilian has been chosen as the best player in the competition during the month of August.

After Hansi Flick was chosen as the best coach, and Lamine Yamal received the award for the U23 player of the month, it's now Raphinha's turn to collect the award for his efforts in the first four matchday fixtures. Three goals, scored in the big win against Valladolid, and two assists represent the numbers from four great games from the blaugrana number 11, who is showing his importance for Flick.

He has played each and every minute, and at a high level. Four starts, four full games, and directly involved in five goals. Raphinha may have set the bar high, but he looks very hungry to achieve much more.
