Gavi joins part of training
Following a day off on Wednesday, it was back to work for the FC Barcelona squad on Thursday with the biggest highlight being the presence of Gavi, who underwent cruciate ligament surgery last November and has also been carrying a meniscus injury sustained while on duty for Spain.
The midfielder has gone through nine arduous months of hard work to get back in condition to play, and today he was finally able to join in with some of the group exercises. Ansu Fati, also recovering from a fitness issue, was able to do likewise.
Thursday was also the first day with all of the players that have been on international duty back under the orders of Hansi Flick. Guillermo and Olmedo of Barça Atlètic also took part, with the focus being the derby away to Girona next Sunday at 4.15pm CEST.
