Barça Atlètic 3-0 Orense: A win at last

Three goals in a quarter of an hour secure the first win of the season for the reserves, including two scored by record-breaking cousins

Third time lucky! Barça Atlètic earned their first set of three points against Orense, with all three goals coming in the last 15 minutes of the first half.

Following a right first hour in which the visitors hit the post and Ureña came closest for Barça, the deadlock was finally broken when the referee spotted a handball in the Orense area. Víctor Barberà converted to claim his first goal since returning to Barça.

Fernández cousins make history

Then came two goals, and especially for the Fernández family. Toni Fernández scored a simply spectacular bicycle kick on 41 minutes, and at the age of just 16 years, 1 month and 3 days thus became the youngest ever goalscorer for Barça Atlètic.

Just four minutes later, the same player laid on the assist for his cousin Guille Fernández to become the second youngest goalscorer for the reserves, at 16 years, 2 months and 21 days. Quite some moment for the two cousins!

Those three goals meant that there wasn't much story left for the second half, in which Albert Sánchez found time to rotate his players and hand a debut to Rubén López, who recently joined the side on loan from Deportivo.
