Sporting CP 33-38 Barça: Iberian super champions!

FC Barcelona have won the Iberian Super Cup after beating Sporting Clube de Portugal on Sunday, more silverware after conquering the Supercopa de Catalunya earlier this week. MVP Emil Nielsen was outstanding as the Catalans dominated from start to finish.

The goalkeeper coupled with some top scoring from Aleix Gómez got Barça flying away to +8 early on, and the game was as good as over before it had barely begun.

As solid at the back as they were effective up front, Carlos Ortega's side were utterly in command as the difference gradually widened. Sporting did all they could to get back into the game, but Nielsen was way too inspired to let that happen. With everything well under control, the minutes ticked down and FC Barcelona were able to celebrate their third consecutive success in this competition!
