Barça 39-31 Porto: Into the final

The blaugranes take the win and will face Sporting Clube in the showdown for the Supercopa Ibérica title

FC Barcelona's handball team are into the final of the Supercopa Ibérica! A 39-31 win over Porto has given the blaugranes the chance to retain their title against Sporting Clube on Sunday at 6pm CEST. 

Carlos Ortega's team took control early on in the game with a five goal lead achieved by the 14 minute mark. That lead was stretched to seven by half time with Aleix Gómez scoring four to give the blaugranes a 24-17 advantage. 

In the second half the lead reached 10 goals with 10 minutes left as Barça controlled proceedings to book their place in Sunday's final.
