Lenglet loaned out to Atlético Madrid

FC Barcelona and Atlético Madrid have reached an agreement for the loan of the French defender Clément Lenglet until 30 June 2025. There is no option of a permanent transfer.

160 appearances and three trophies 

Since signing for the blaugranes in 2018 from Sevilla, Lenglet has made 160 appearances in a Barça shirt, scoring seven goals and creating three assists. With regards to honours, he has won a La Liga title (2018/19), a Copa del Rey (2020/21) and a Spanish Super Cup (2018/19). 

Two seasons in the Premier League 

Over the last two seasons the French defender has played in England in the Premier League. In 2022/23 he made 35 appearances for Tottenham Hotsper in all competitions and the following campaign he helped Aston Villa qualify for the Champions League and represented the team in European competition in the Conference League in his 26 appearances.
