Maybank renews partnership with FC Barcelona until 2027

Club’s Official Bank in Malaysia and Singapore to remain so for the next few years

FC Barcelona and Maybank, one of the most important banking groups in Asia, have agreed to extend their partnership deal until 2027. The financial entity will continue to be Barça’s Official Bank in Malaysia and Singapore, as it already has been since 2017, when the two brands signed their first deal.

This renewed partnership is a game-changer for both sides. For FC Barcelona, it solidifies their presence in the passionate Asian market, where they boast a massive fanbase. Maybank, on the other hand, gets to leverage this incredible reach to expand its brand presence and fuel customer excitement.

The bank will continue to market Maybank FC Barcelona Cards in Malaysia and Singapore, which are both credit and debit cards designed to further strengthen the bank’s leadership in the card markets in these countries. Maybank will also continue to offer exclusive campaigns to its customers (Spend & Score) including challenges and prize draws that until now have enabled several clients to travel to Barcelona and meet Barça Legends.

From now until September 15th, 2024, Maybank is ready to launch another campaign, offers Malaysian FC Barcelona fans another chance to win an exclusive experience in Barcelona and be part of a truly unique opportunity once more.

Maybank is the current leader in the card market, boasting more than 14 million cardmembers across Malaysia and Singapore. There are over 600,000 Maybank FC Barcelona Visa Debit and Credit cardmembers alone, a testament to the incredible connection Maybank has built with football fans in the region.
