FC Barcelona statement

FC Barcelona and Aramark have announced a new strategic agreement through the current catering and hospitality provider for the Club becomes a Barça Vision shareholder (Bridgeburg Invest), as well as a new Espai Barça partner. 

With today's agreement Aramark Spain becomes the official catering partner for the future Spotify Camp Nou and strengthens the strategy of working with leader in the sector that can offer an improved experience to to Barça fans visiting the future Espai Barça. The Espai Barça project is a strategic one for the Club that guarantees the future viability of the organisation's model of governance. FC Barcelona is committed to converting its facilities into a international hub of innovation with new experiences that will form part of a new concept of entertainment 365 days a year that includes all of the FC Barceona facilities in the neighbourhood of Les Corts in Barcelona and the Estadi Johan Cruyff and Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper in Sant Joan Despí. 

Barça Vision is a Club initiative that brings together projects associated with Web3, NFTs and the metaverse which form part of the Club's strategy for building the Espai Barça Digital. With this agreement FC Barcelona manages to strengthen the Barça Vision structure with a strategic and expert business partner in the search for business opportunities related to the hospitality industry and that of gastronomic experiences within large sporting facilities. Currently Aramark Corporation, a multinational business with its base in Philadelphia, USA, has a presence in 19 countries and has more than 248,000 employees worldwide. The food service company forms part of the Aramark Corporation, present in Spain since 1992, manages more than 150 large scale entertainment and leisure events each years in various fields such as cultural and sporting events and shows. 

The sale of Bridgeburg Invest's share came about with authorisation from the General Assembly of FC Barcelona members held on 23 October 2021.
