The Club's Board of Directors visit the Annapolis Naval Academy
An FC Barcelona official delegation comprising President Joan Laporta and directors Miquel Camps, Xavier Puig, Ferran Olivé and Joan Soler have been on a guided tour of the Naval Academy facilities in Annapolis, the headquarters for the blaugrana preseason while they are on tour in the United States of America this summer.
With Captain Paul Totura and Navy Soccer coach Tim O'Donohue as guides, the Club's Board of Directors members got to know the history of the facility - founded in 1845 - the routines and traditions of its residents, plus the Academy's football program.
Annapolis Naval Academy is hosting this middle phase of the men's football first team preseason in the United States of America, with double sessions each day, morning and evening. Saturday August 3 will see Hansi Flick's side travel to New York to take on Real Madrid at the Metlife Stadium in New Jersey. They will return to Annapolis the following day for the final stretch of preseason preparations, with the game against AC Milan on August 6 at the M&T Bank stadium in Baltimore.
