Agenda for first week of preseason for FC Barcelona

The first team will return to work on Wednesday to carry out seven training sessions by the end of the week

The wait is almost over as Barça are set to get preseason for the 2024/25 campaign under way this week. New coach Hansi Flick faces his first competitive game on 17 August away from home against Valencia in La Liga with the squad to return to training this week on Wednesday 10 July. 

As is usual, preseason will kick off with medical and fitness tests for the first team on Wednesday and Thursday. In the afternoons on Wednesday and Thursday there will also be the first training sessions of the summer.

Friday and Sunday double sessions

The first day with a double training session will be on Friday with Saturday seeing just a single session in the morning. Sunday will again see a double session take place to bring the total for the week up to seven. 

The squad will remain in Barcelona until 28 June when they will head to the USA for a preseason tour which includes friendlies against Manchester City, Real Madrid and AC Milan.
