Agreement to sign Kika Nazareth until 2028

Portuguese attacking midfielder arrives on a four-year deal

FC Barcelona and SL Benfica have reached an agreement on the transfer of Kika Nazareth to the former. The 21-year-old Portuguese star is signing for four seasons through to 30 June 2028.

Rising talent

Kika, as she is known professionally, is a skilled midfielder who can also play in attack, having scored five goals in the nine games she played in the UEFA Women’s Champions League, where her team reached the quarter finals last season before going out to Olympique Marseilles. Her Benfica side also visited the Estadi Johan Cruyff in that campaign, where they were soundly beaten 5-0.

Much of her talent stems from her ability to read the game, very much in line with the characteristic Barça DNA.
