Martel played in all the age categories in the youth set up at the Club and made his debut for the first team in 2011 under coach Marc Carmona. He went on to win a Champions League, two league titles, two Copas del Rey and two Spanish Cups with Barça. At Inter, Martel also claimed three trophies in two seasons; a Spanish Cup, a Copa del Rey and a Super Cup.

"I am coming back to show what I can do"

"I arrived at Barça when I was very young and I played at all levels in the youth teams at the Club before reaching the first team. I had to leave to gain more playing time and now I am returning to what I consider to be my home," admitted Martel.

“I am very stubborn, I have had to work hard to come back. Now I am coming back more mature and with a desire to show what I can do and how I can be useful to Barça," he concluded.
