Noia Freixenet 1-5 Barça: League champions!

24th title secured following victory in game four of the final series

This time they did it! FC Barcelona have been crowned champions of the OK Liga after winning game four of the best-of-five series against Noia Freixenet. The champsgne was put on hold after solid 4-1 defeat in game three, but they bounced straight back and secured a comfortable 5-1 victory on Sunday to dew up the championship.

After such a tough struggle to find goals on Friday, this was a very different story, with two goals in the third minutes setting things up very nicely indeed. João Rodrigues got the first and Alabart doubled up just 30 seconds after.

The intense energy continued throughout. A third Barça goal always looked more likely than anything from Noia, but we had to wait until the second half for it to happen. João Rodrigues eventually did the job.

Noia could see the trophy slipping away and rallied the troops in search of an unlikely comeback. Morales did managed to scramble one goal back, but their hopes were dashed straight from the restart as Ignacio Alabart restored Barça's three-goal lead.

And just before the end, a final goal was fittingly struck away by Sergi Panadero, the icing on the cake of a tremendous day... 5-1 victory and champions of the Parlem OK Lliga!
