Oscar Da Silva not staying on at Barça

Club opts to exercise clause to end the German forward's contract that had bound him to Barça for the last two seasons

Oscar Da Silva will not be staying at Barça in the 2024/25 season. His contract was due to end on 30 June 2025, but the club has opted to exercise the severance clause. FC Barcelona thanks Da Silva for his dedication, and his exemplary support for such projects as the EuroLeague One Team. We wish him every good fortune in the future, both personally and professionally.

Da Silva came to Barcelona in the summer of 2022 from Alba Berlin. The Brazilian-German forward has played 136 games in his two years at the club, including 64 in the Liga Endesa and the same number in the EuroLeague.

In the blaugrana jersey, Da Silva has won the Liga Endesa (2023) and two Catalan Leagues (2022 & 2023).
