EUROPE vs AMERICA: The defence sorted, now vote for the midfield

The voting continues for the best European and American XI's in Barça history. A great way to celebrate Euro 24 and the Copa America, which are happening right now, in the poll going on at the moment on the official FC Barcelona.

The defenders have been chosen already, on from Tuesday we move on to the midfielders. starting with the defensive midfield position, where the options include the likes of Sergio Busquets, Pep Guardiola and Arturo Vidal.

The teams so far

The European team so far features Víctor Valdés in goal, with a four-man defence made up of Albert Ferrer and Jordi Alba as full backs, and Carles Puyol and Gerard Piqué in the middle. So far, all of the players were Spain internationals. For the Americas, we have Chile's Claudio Bravo in goal, Dani Alves and Maxwell/Sylvinho/Adriano, both of Brazil, at full back, and Mascherano of Argentina and Rafa Márquez of Mexico in the middle.

Just over half the team has yet to be decided by voters on the app, but once we're done, users will then get to decide which of these two teams would win in a hypothetical match-up.
