End of season party in the Estadi Johan Cruyff

Barça Women end the 2023/24 season in the Estadi Johan Cruyff with a xxx win over Real Betis in their final home game of the campaign. There remains just one more match for the women's team and that comes away from home in the league next Sunday at Valencia. 

The last game at home was a chance for the sell out crowd in the stadium to say goodbye to three important figures in the team; players Sandra Paños, Mariona Caldentey and coach Jonatan Giráldez. 

Four trophies take centre stage 

The day was also the perfect opportunity to celebrate a historic campaign in which the team claimed an unprecedented four trophies. There was music on the concourse and competitions at the Estadi Johan Cruyff and also the chance to take photographs in the main stand in front of an image of the team with the four titles from 2023/24 and take it home in poster format. 

Emotional day for Mariona, Paños and Giráldez

The most emotional moment of the day came at the end of the game against Betis when Mariona, Sandro Paños and Jonatan Giráldez took to the field to say goodbye accompanied by footage on the video scoreboard.
